Hello,

My name is Vanesa I'm twenty-three years old and I was born in Ibiza. I live in a small village, Sant Miquel de Balansat. I'm still living with my parents and my younger sister, who is sixteen.

Now I'm going to University because I'm studying to become a teacher. Next year I will have finished! I hope... In the future I would like to work in a school, but I know that it's very difficult at the moment. First I will try to find a job, because I need to earn some money to buy a car, move with my boyfriend... A lot of things!

I'm very happy because all my friends, who were living in Barcelona, are in Ibiza this year, and I go with them very often. We like going to have a coffe, lunch or dinner...And that is a story of my life.

How are you? thank you for the last email. I was very happy when I saw the email and I heard your good news.

Congratulations on your new job! It´s fantastic that you can work a state school, I hope one day I will work in a state school like you.

This year, It's my first year at college. It's nice and I have many interesting subjects and I have met a lot of different people, but we must work hard, if we want to pass all the group assignments and the exams.

The timetable is great. I don't have classes every day, I can stay at home doing my homework. Sometime I go to the library, because at home there are a lot of people every afternoon ( aunt, cousin...) you know! Then I can't do my homework very well.

In general I like college, I hope I will pass all my subjects and enjoy the summer.

ESSAY

There are a lot of people who think that traditional methodologies are still better than modern methodologies because children work and learn more. However people probably do not kinow, that this is not always true.

One advantage of modern methodologies is that teachers pay more attention to the interest of children, and in class they often do many activities that they have plained. Another adavatage is that teachers respect de individual development of children, and give them the time necessary to do the activities. 

Although modern methodologies also have disadvantages such as that not all teachers have good educations to be able to do activities with modern methodologies.

In conclusion I think that modern methodologies are better than traditional methodologies, but all the teachers must study a lot and learn new methodologies to be able to do the best activities with their children.
